It is polished or satin. The outer lip has a stepped profile in order to allow for the tyres to be mounted easily. A hump, close to the outer border of the rim, prevents the tyre from sliding.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\">A\u00a0<strong>barrel<\/strong>, that presents a cylindric profile to give space for voluminous brake calipers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The wheel centre, lip and barrel are assembled together with special screws and are <strong>waterproof sealed<\/strong> with a specific silicone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"438\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/madin.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/schema-voiles-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2752\" srcset=\"https:\/\/madin.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/schema-voiles-2.png 438w, https:\/\/madin.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/schema-voiles-2-292x300.png 292w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 438px) 100vw, 438px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2-piece rims<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">2-piece rims have been created by BBS, with the BBS RSII and RX II models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>different types<\/strong> of 2-piece rims: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- those where the wheel centre and the barrel together are forming a unique element, on which a lip is then mounted. <br>- those where lip and barrel are forming a unique element together, to which the wheel centre is then mounted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, it is possible to use a wheel centre designed for a 2-piece wheel in a 3-piece mounting. <a href=\"https:\/\/madin.fr\/en\/threepiece-wheels\/lips-barrels\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2557\">We can produce specific lips and barrels <\/a>for such projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conclusion <\/strong>: 2-piece wheels are not easy to modify. 3-piece wheels, <a href=\"https:\/\/madin.fr\/en\/nos-jantes\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2543\">such as those we produce<\/a>, are easy to repair and to custom. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2 ou 3 parties ?
